Well after the week started off weird Monday I am afraid I have not done much better other than limiting the garbage I inhale for food. :x oh wait I haven't done that well there either. I had that mushroom swiss burger :/
In law is still in the hospital after gall-bladder surgery. Been running a fever all week. Slept all day yesterday so I could stay up last night since I need to sleep today for work tonight. Anyways enough blah blah blah. I use the google reader for a few other sites I follow. I was trying the load tabs thing to be sure people had views but its become annoying to see so many people who quit caring. least with the reader they will only get hits if they have something to say I guess :) ... lastly welcome to a couple of newcomers. thank you for the support.

2/15/2011 - P90X - Food - Random
Sorry I forgot to post this last night. Had to go out and exchange some shoes and wife was visiting family in the hospital so we were out late again.:)
P90X - I did CardioX yesterday.
Food -
5am - 1 small orange & water
11am - spaghetti & sweet tea
7pm - mushroom swiss burger, French fries & coke
Random -
I know dinner was kind of self destructive. we ate out and it just looked nummy :P. On a different note...
I have been waiting 3 months before I remove what appear to be dead blogs (no new posts) from my rotation. Meaning February is almost over and folks whose last post was in November I am about to remove from my daily list. How long do you all keep loading other peoples blogs after they appear to stop posting?

Random - woke up at 3:00 with the best of intentions I truly planned on working out but I had a killer headache and lay on the bathroom floor trying not to ... lose my lunch till almost 3:30. Oh how I love the withdrawal from caffiene symptoms :>. Only cokes (for me that is) left in my house are 4 or 5 diet caffiene free root beers (BLEH!) So now that the "Holidays" are over I have managed to go the last 2 days without cokes And tuesday was just a couple of diet root beers. Anyways I hope everyone has a good weekend. :) See ya'll Sunday

2-7-11 P90X - Food - Random
P90X - CoreX aka push up day. Did my workout. Trying to get bck in the groove now after this long holiday season :)

1pm - 1 bowl hot and sour soup & 12oz mellow yellow
6pm - eeep ... 4 hot dogs, 3 buns & 12oz OJ

I know I know 4 hot-dogs! Hey on the bright side I did my workout by noon today instead if waiting until 3 then rushing myself. I hope to get in the routine (said it before I know) of doing my exercises in the AM. :)

2-1-11 P90X - Food - Random
Sorry I didn't post yesterday. Worked Sunday night then came home to take care of a little one with a cold so I was a bum as I got just some power napping in yesterday. Anyways on to today (Tuesday).
P90X - CoreX ... tried the Sphynx push-ups. Did a modified version ... aka I was a wimp and did them form my knees BUT have I mentioned I HATE! push-ups?
Food -
8am - Lasagna & water
1pm - Lasagna & 12oz Mellow Yellow
6pm - Shepherds pie, strawberry nutrigrain bar & 12oz Mellow Yellow
Random - Somewhere I got out of the habit of eating oatmeal for breakfast. Definitely need to get back INTO the habit. :) I am finding it much more difficult to stick to non destructive eating habits than I am finding it to get in to the habit of exercising. But the positive thing is I am doing way better than 6 months ago soooo ... YEAH ME! :D

1/30/11 - Random
Random - I must admit folks keeping track over the weeknds seems like a very tedious chore. One that I do not enjoy (on the weekends at least). I am very highly concidering just keeping track Mon-Fri and simply doing my best on Sat and Sun (mostly by drinking water). I haven't exercised much on Sat and Sun since I started this blog as I normally spend those days with family. Anyways I will post Mondays workout later tonight. Thank you all for following.

1/27/11 - P90X - Food - Random
P90X - I'll tell you what folks after being on the phone with AT&T for nearly 2 hours I didn;t WANT to workout then I read "Smile's" web site and say the video from Arnold and I was like well DAMN! :/ So the point is I DID workout. I did CoreX which was supposed to be my Monday workout but at least I did something.
Food -

I plan on having a half a cucumber snack some time before midnight :)
Random - Now folks jsut because I was on the phone so long with AT&T don't think I dislike them. Quite the opposite. The problem is the guy who sold me U-Verse promised me this and that and the kitchen sink (and stupid me didn't make him put it all in writing) and now I had to talk to like 6 different people before someone was able to put in an override in the system and get me what I was sold. So my advice to everyone who reads this is to make sure you get "EVERYTHING in writing" :)

1/26/11 - P90X - Food - Random
P90X - I did the Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps work out. Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike push-ups? I don't think Mr Tony Horton got the memo. So let me restate here ... I DISLIKE PUSH-UPS! 1 exercise in mind made me go "Hory $417". It was called the floor flys. basically push ups but your hands instead of being directly underneath you are put out wide (slide on a plate or not) then come back under you and push the other hand out wide. Too lazy to look for a youtube video but for those of you concerned look for one. Its CRAZY!
Food - Oi bad food day :x
9am - 2 sausage egg cheese croissants & 16 oz of OJ
6pm - 6oz bacon wrapped fillet, serving garlic mashed potatoes, half a cucumber, 6 crescent rolls ( eeep I had to think on this one) & 24oz slushy Mellow Yellow
Random - Well I have been off work since Jan 13th and I am due back tomorrow. Sucks :<

6pm - grilled chicken, green beans, pasta roni & 24oz diet root beer (crosses fingers no migraine in the AM)
Random -
Almost forgot to post today folks :D Looked at the phase 2 of P90X Lean. Since I want Sundays to be my off day I assumed I just skipped yesterdays work out. The only difference from Phase1 ->2 is a different arms video. Went from Shoulders & Arms ->Chest, Shoulders & Triceps. We will see how that goes tomorrow. Anyways have a good night folks. 1/21/11 - Food - Random
TL:DR - Weekly recommendation ... Rigors blog isnt for everyone BUT the video he posted is of someone very inspirational go check it out! Rest of blog ... woke up feeling like crap. Didnt work out. Horid drink choices BUT I dont care :)
Food -
7am - bowl of chili & 24oz Mt Dew
1pm - bowl of chili & 12 oz Barqs diet root beer (I had 2 of these last night before bed)
6pm - its going to be a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat bun, FFs and a large strawberry milkshake from whataburger
Random - Woke up at 6am with a migraine. It was 1pm (and numerous headache meds) before I started feeling normal. Basically I felt like crud all morning so I lay in a dark room with a tv on and just didnt care. Finally took the trash out at 1-ish. Made a mess in the basement. Stupid bag ripped. Ate lunch. Then @ 2:30 finally cleaned up the mess in the basement. Anyways here it is 4pm and I am bout to get a nice hot shower then run get my daughter. Wife has a girls nite out so its daddy daughter nite :). And frankly I dont care that I didnt work out today and had WAY more sodas than recent averages. But I am ok with that considering how I felt this AM. I know tomorrow we are spending part of the day at the mall so I expect quite a bit of walking and I will be back to mostly water to drink. Anyways todays drink choices were based on getting as much caffeine in my system as I could. So to any nay sayers ... :P
After waking up with a migraine I did what I do a lot of times when I wake up with one. I looked up possible causes. What did I find that was out of the ordinary for me last night ... Aspartame an ingredient in diet colas. Now I compared the Publix diet root beer from the past week vs the Barqs diet root beer from last night. Publix brand does not list aspartame but specifically says no caffeine where as the Barqs DOES list aspartame. Now I'm not blaming it only on the aspartame but it sure couldn't have helped when I am already prone to them. I did have one (Barqs) with lunch today (also took 2 more advil at the same time) and I am tempted to do some scientific research and have 2 Barqs before bed (like with dinner last night) to see how I feel the next morning except we are out of Maxalts in the house so those studies may be way off in the future. Anyone want the rest of these Barqs Diet Root Beers ? Anyways sorry for being so long winded folks. Now for my weekly recommendation. Rigors blog isnt for everyone BUT this video is of someone very inspirational. Rigor posted the video a few days ago. I have seen this video before and every time I see it it reminds me to be thankful that I am as well off as I am. Anyways check Rigors Post here and leave the man some good feedback :)

1/20/11 - P90X - Food - Random
P90X - KenpoX ... Oi I think I will stick with CardioX for screwy days. I forget I dislike some of the KenpoX exercises (I can do them easily enough I just don't like them) ended up straining a hamstring muscle somehow. WTH? I'm a 3rd degree black belt and while doing the KenpoX kicks I'm not kicking sky high. Whatever?!

8am - 4 McD pancakes & 20oz OJ
1pm - 4 slices of pizza & 16oz water
4pm - 16oz water
6pm - 8oz chicken breast, 1c of rice 1c green beans & 24 oz Diet Root beer
Random -
One of my wifes friends suggested I try Barqs Root beer since the Publix tastes exactly like diet coke to me. I will admit it was a bit better. Still not a real root beer but every little bit helps. Anyways see ya'll tomorrow.

1/18/11 - P90X - Food - Random
P90X - Due to needing to leave for a funeral this afternoon and handling some paperwork type stuff I opted for the CardioX workout. Its a 40 minute workout instead of the hour of the others so when I am short on time I find this is a good alternative. The holiday season and inclement weather that had hit BHM and other assorted family matters has put my workout routine a bit behind track over the last month. I will endeavor to do better.
Food -
8am - Bowl of hot and sour soup & 16oz of OJ
1:30 pm - 16 oz OJ (folks I had a diet root beer in the freezer getting nice and slushy and while WW pts say its better for me than the OJ I am going with the 'healthy' alternative)
Lunch and dinner will be eaten on the road/out of town so I will try my best to make good decisions. Chances are high though that I will end up at a family members house having some good ole country fixin's aka damn good nom nom noms :D
Random - not much to say today other than had fun over the weekend. & My office has been struck with an inordinate amount of deaths (not personnel but family) in the past year. I count 8 deaths in less than a year with only 14 direct employees for my department. Call me crazy but that just seems freakishly high. Anyways I am doubtful I will get a workout in tomorrow as I will be driving back in to town but I work tomorrow night then start a long week off so I am going to do my best to get my workout schedule back in a decent rhythm if not the full 6 on 1 off of the P90X calendar. Sunday-Monday Jan. 16-17 ---2011
Workout - Sunday/Mondays workout was horsing around in the snow and sledding for @ 5 hours Sunday and another 4 hours Monday morning. While this isn't a true "workout" it was an enjoyable type of exercise. Hauled my daughter up a hill a couple of times. And at @ 30 #s after walking up a hill you will get winded.
Food - I hope you all dont expect me to count calories when on a weekend trip with friends and family although I didn't pig out as bad as I used to.
Random - Sunday morning started off with a double whammy of bad news. First my mother called to inform me than an uncle had passed away. He had been in declining health for over a year. Then when we are finishing packing for the 3 ish hour drive to Snow Mountain the park calls to say they have moved us from a 5-5 sledding time to a 4-6 and they are closing the park at 7pm instead of 10pm. Luckily they did redeem themselves, for us at least if not other partys that were ... forced to adjust their plans, they gave us free tickets Monday morning to come back and play in the snow. Just so happens the tickets were also good for some more sled time. :D

P90X - Well folks I wimped out. I opted for the 45 min CardioX instead of the KenpoX workout. And I still didn't workout at 100% OI VEY! Is it tough to get back in the groove of working out.

I was thinking my food choices were bad but in retrospect not as bad as I thought. Granted a hot dog isnt good for you per se' but I feel like everything was in moderation. Although I was half way through the second burrito and I was like why did I warm up both of these. Im not this hungry. :< Still sleepy so see everyone tomorrow. Also ... will be out of town Sunday ... going to snow mtn in ATL so wont be able to post Sunday night. See ya'll tomorrow.
Food -
6am - banana & water
8am - hot dog on wheat bun & water
12pm - 2 ham and roast beef sandwiches on wheat & water
6pm - 2 chicken burritos on 24oz Mt Dew.

1/13/11 - P90X - Food - Random
P90X - CardioX ... I will be honest folks. I only gave this workout about 75% effort and that equaled about 50% effort on a "good" day. Having worked 55+ hours in 4 days and lack of sleep Sunday/Monday kinda wore me down. BUT I look at any actual exercise today as a victory. I will admit I didn't want to work out. Who really wants to work? Well some days I don't mind and some days I am like BLEH! but today I was anti working out but I did it anyways mostly because I said I would and I try my darnedest to do the things I say I will do. So I count this as a victory. So in the spirit of doings things I say I will do I am saying I WILL workout tomorrow. I am planning on the KenpoX and then move on to the phase 2 schedule next week since this week has been ... fubared.
Food - Some good choices and some bad choices today
12am - 1 banana
2am - 1/2c fried rice, 1/2c general tao chicken, 1/2c kung pao shrimp & water
6am - 1 orange
9am - (boooo) ... 1 strawberry danish
6pm - 6 grilled chicken raviolis & 24oz Mt. Dew

I sit here physically drained after a hard week at work and I wonder is the exercise working? Granted I have seen the numbers on the scale the last couple of months but I am still exhausted. Hopefully after a good nights sleep, which I doubt I will manage since I was a slug and slept too much today, I will feel better come morning time. No folks I am not going to quit or give up its just one of those days every one has where I am tired and that makes a person feel a bit down. Thankfully here it is 8pm and my energy drinks (Mt. Dews) have not given me a huge surge. See ya'll tomorrow
